Iacovine Genealogy

Iagovino is an Americanized surname that comes from the Iacovine family. The Iacovine family and other related lines are from a province of Italy called Matera, specifically from the villages of Salandra and Miglionico.

The Baginsky’s on the flip side are Poles, from two very distinct regions of Poland. The main line of Baginsky are from the Russian Partition of Poland, from the village of Slubowo, which is just outside of Warsaw the capital of Poland. The other side of the Baginsky family are the Fizur’s which are from the Prussian side of Poland, and they come from the area surrounding the town of Szubin.
